One of Guy Fieri’s favorite restaurants is ready to make its debut in Las Vegas. As Eater Vegas exclusively revealed last August, Jacksonville, Florida’s Metro Diner plans to debut comfort food favorites at its first of three planned Vegas locations on March 14.
That’s when the restaurant at 9595 W. Tropicana Ave. debuts, followed by additional locations on South Rainbow Boulevard and North Stephanie Street in Henderson.
The restaurant features a menu of dishes priced at less than $15, serving all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Fieri visited the restaurant in 2010 on his Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and since it’s become a favorite of fans of the show.
The menu features fried chicken and waffles topped with house-made strawberry butter and Charleston shrimp and grits with sweet and spicy sauce. Kids can order up macaroni and cheese and pigs in a blanket.
Special menu items include the Yo Hala on the Square, crab cake Benedict and more.
Fans who want a sneak peek of the restaurant can head over on Saturday, March 11, and Sunday, March 12, for a charity event to benefit the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Habitat for Humanity. Call 702-970-3281 for reservations for the event.
The restaurant plans to be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and Friday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
