Fans of Le Thai may soon have a second outpost of the Fremont East restaurant. Co-owner and chef Dan Coughliin tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he plans to return to his roots, opening a new location at 2202 W. Charleston Blvd., home to his first restaurant, Mix Zone Cafe.
The 1,200-square-foot restaurant will only have space for up to 18 people sitting at stools or a communal table.
While most of the menu from the original location will make the move as well, but everything will arrive in takeout containers. The chef hopes to focus on delivery and takeout at the space at Charleston Boulevard and Rancho Drive. Expect an opening in “three to four months.”
Coughlin tells the RJ that he hopes this second location will be a template for future expansions.
Coughlin is also involved in Bocho, the sushi restaurant in Downtown Las Vegas.
