Summerlin is about to get a taste of Natalie Young’s food. The chef behind Eat and Chow in Downtown’s Fremont East plans to open a second Eat at 1910 Village Center Circle, inside the home of the former Jacques Café, the casual American bistro that closed in February.
The 2,525-square-foot restaurant had room for 70 when it was Jacques Cafe. Another 45 could sit on the patio in Summerlin’s Trails Village shopping center.
Young plans to serve breakfast and lunch, just like the original location on Carson Avenue, although the Las Vegas Review-Journal says Young may open for dinner on certain days of the week.
Huevos Motulenos, chicken fried steak and chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and turkey jalapeño mango sausage are just some of the breakfast dishes Young serves in Downtown Las Vegas. Lunch features the DWBLTA with smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado; a “killer” grilled cheese with tomato soup; and free range chicken with pan-fried mozzarella.
