The local Ohjah brand keeps on growing, this time back into Henderson, with the second ramen-focused offshoot of the very popular Japanese Steakhouse.
Ohjah Noodle House is now serving in the Horizon Village Square retail center, at the intersection of W. Horizon Drive and Horizon Ridge Parkway. The first noodle house concept debuted in December, 20 miles to the west.
Unlike its larger siblings that focus on sushi, hibachi grills and teppanyaki tables, the noodle outposts are smaller, more casual and both feature a very similar, wood wall interior design.
On the menu, appetizers like squid skewers for $3.25, the $4.95 fried oysters, a $3.25 seaweed salad and $4.50 garlic edamame. House specials include the $9.35 salmon and $8.75 chicken katsu or $6.95 house fried noodles.
For the ramen menu, a hearty Ohjah House Ramen priced at $11.50, featuring oxtail, beef, egg, bean sprouts, seaweed and wood fungus, the $9.75 beef ramen, $8.95 shoyu, $8.95 miso and the $9.75 tan tan men. Toppings like corn, garlic butter and extra proteins including ground pork can also be added, priced between $1 and $3.
They are already serving Japanese beer and sake, plus melon or mango cream sodas.
