Las Vegas Daiquirita Block Party
What: Hosted by The Industrial Event Space, this annual event combines margaritas, daiquiris, food trucks and live entertainment for a night of block party revelry. Attendees will be treated to unlimited cocktails, gourmet food truck cuisine, DJ sets and much more.
Details: The block runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Tickets range from $15- to $40 and include an option to donate to the event's nonprofit partner Royal Love. Ride-sharing is suggested since street parking for the event will be limited.
SATURDAY, AUG. 12
Aces & Ales 8th Annual Strong Beer Fest
What: Aces & Ales' Tenaya location hosts its summer event, the eighth annual Strong Beer Fest. The gathering features more than 50 rare beers from the United States and Europe along with gastropub-style food. Specialty beers include brews from Able Baker, Brasserie de Silly, Crafthaus and Las Vegas' own Triple 7 Brewing.
Details: The festival starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include a souvenir glass and one free beer sample.
SATURDAY, AUG. 12
Hopped Taco Throwdown
What: Beer and tacos come together at the Backyard at Zappos in Downtown Las Vegas. The event includes unlimited tacos and craft beer samples from a slew of chefs and brewers.
Details: The taco throwdown runs from 8 to 11 p.m. Early VIP entry starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $50.

THURSDAY, AUG. 17
Third Thursday on 3rd
What: Downtown Grand hosts a food truck, live art, music and entertainment block party on Third Street between Ogden and Stewart.
Details: Truk-N-Yaki, Stripchezze, The Cookie Bar, Cousins Maine Lobster and Waffle Love take over the street from 7 to 10 p.m. The event also features a live illustration battle on the ground from Secret Walls, along with a DJ, street games and craft beers.
SATURDAY, AUG. 26
One Drunk Puppy Wine Tasting
What: Animal lovers unite for a cause at the Silverton Casino for a night of wine tasting and light food. The 7th annual One Drunk Puppy Wine Tasting features a silent auction, live music and wine provided by Glazer's. Proceeds benefit The Animal Foundation.
Details: The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets start at $40. Silverton Rewards Club card holders receive a $5 discount.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 9
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada's Dessert Before Dinner Gala
What: Las Vegas pastry chefs and supporters of the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada gather at Caesars Palace for an evening of friendly competition and female leadership recognition. Participating pastry chefs will prepare S'mores-themed desserts for guests to sample before dinner. The night also features awards for local women who have made notable contributions to the Girls Scouts of Southern Nevada.
Details: The gala runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets start at $400 with proceeds benefiting the organization.
