The Straight From Philly Steakout franchise has been a familiar Las Vegas name since 1994, but now the original owners and creators have returned and debuted their own site on the westside.

Once the operators of locations on Decatur Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, the new home takes over a shuttered Hot Dog On a Stick at the Red Rock Plaza, close to the intersection of Charleston and Decatur Boulevards.

The corner property features a drive-thru and a menu of Philly steak, chicken or hot pastrami sandwiches and cold options like an "Italian Hoagie," made with Provolone, capicola, Genoa salami, pepper ham and pepperoni for $8.50. All sandwiches are served on a "Philly 10" Amoroso roll." Appetizers include $3 "Cheez Whiz fries," $4 "pizza fries" and six mozzarella sticks for $6.

The main attractions are the Philly Steaks, ranging in price for an $8 "plain," to $10 for the "Philly Phanatic Steak," topped with chili and American, Provolone and Cheese Whiz.
