The Cuppa Coffee Bar
Address: Downtown Summerlin, 2120 Festival Plaza Dr., Suite 140
Status: Open during the week from 7 a.m to 9 p.m. and 8 a.m to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Less than two months after Rice Republic shuttered in Downtown Summerlin, in record time, The Cuppa Coffee Bar has already debuted a third local outpost inside the vacated space.
Expanding from Holley's Cuppa in the southwest and The Cuppa at The Gramercy in Spring Valley, this large upgrade sits next door to cosmetics retailer Lush, in a prime middle position at the outdoor mall.
Making good use of the outdoor patio, Cuppa intends to appeal to immediate locals and cultivate repeat business. A "give-a-book/take-a-book library" is available in a bookcase by the front door for guests who wish to make the visits last longer.
On the menu, "espresso, lattes, cold brew, frap blends, and other popular coffee concoctions," with chalkboard specials written up over the counter.
They also serve protein shakes, Italian sodas and a "lemon or fruit punch slush." For diners, items will vary daily, including breads, bagels, croissants, muffins and cookies.
Light meal options include quiche, hummus and crackers, a BLT, plus a turkey sausage, egg and cheddar on an English muffin, croissant or bagel.
