A big change is imminent at Tivoli Village, with The Market LV building readying to shutter all its retail and dining options, before a mass conversion into office space.

The switcheroo was uncovered by 13 Action News last month and has been confirmed by the building’s now closed restaurant anchor, View Wine Bar & Kitchen.

The 22,000-square-foot Market LV concept was unveiled in August 2012, aiming to replicate the success of New York’s Chelsea Market. The ground-floor, fast-casual floor plan changed hands multiple times, with final tenant Waffle Bar already relocated into the original home of Pizza Lounge.

Debuting in 2012, View Wine Bar & Kitchen was created by former Planet Hollywood Resort president Bill Feather and launched with Johnny Church as the executive chef. Wide open to the indoor retail walkway, the name was inspired by the 10-foot tall windows overlooking Tivoli Village's fountain and obelisk.

No word yet on how the closures will affect other longtime tenants such as Cupkates by Kate and the B Sweet Candy Boutique.

Next for Tivoli Village, the summer debut of famed Los Angeles institution Canter’s Deli and the arrival of ChillSpot by SasaSweets inside the long dormant YoScream store.

ChillSpot recently closed out at downtown’s Container Park and brother-and-sister operators Joe Vergara and Liza Vergara-Grossthey also shut down their upstairs expansion, Stoned N Baked. No timetable for ChillSpot’s arrival has been announced, but expect a version of the downtown menu, including liquid nitrogen ices, ice creams, sorbettos and their own frozen SasaPops.
