California-based Fluff Ice and its food truck have made frequent visits to Las Vegas in recent years and have now put down some permanent roots in Spring Valley, serving "frozen cotton candy" the restaurant promises is "magically flavorful with every bite."
Formerly available inside the shuttered White Rabbit Cafe in Chinatown, now home to Fukuburger, Fluff Ice’s new 1,400-square foot home has debuted at the Russell Pavilion retail center, at the corner of Russell Road and Rainbow Boulevard.
Fluff Ice explains its creation is "not ice cream. It's not yogurt. It's creamy and full of flavor, but light and fluffy." On the menu, choices like fusion green tea, mango madness, chocolate crunch, Halo Halo, and "Thai paradise, a tea-flavored dish with egg pudding and lychee jelly.
Sizes range from the $3.75 mini to the $5.50 large. Guests can customize by selecting their fluff; adding two toppings, such as honey boba, mochi, and sprinkles; and topping it off with drizzles of condensed milk, caramel, house syrup, or chocolate syrup. The restaurant also serves frosted milk drinks and teas.
An official grand opening will take place May 6, featuring "live entertainment, a DJ, photo booth, food and drinks, giveaways, promos, and more!"
