The operators of the first boba tea store to launch in Las Vegas are expanding again, this time into Henderson. No. 1 Boba Tea is very close to a debut at the Mall Ring Circle retail annex, across the huge parking lot from the entrance to the Galleria at Sunset mall.

No. 1 Boba Tea will take over the 1,233-square-foot former home of the Atomic No 7 dessert shop and the "Mac n Cheese" dishes of Mix N Mac. Promised to be arriving later this month, its three other locations all open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and until 9.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The concept moved into the Chinatown Mall in 1998, with a simpler, drinks-only menu. Amy Zhang Warthan bought out the company in 2005, expanding to the southeast in 2001, adding a food menu and one year ago opened in Spring Valley at the corner of Flamingo and Fort Apache roads.

Served in Spring Valley, a large roster of flavored teas, smoothies and slushes created with fresh fruits, ice cream macarons, "snow fluff" in flavors like mango, red velvet and matcha, plus spinach, pork or chicken noodles, beef wraps and ramen.
