Sausagefest will be the first in Oliver Naidas’ mini-empire of local food-trucks to make the transition into a bricks-and-mortar restaurant. And it is coming soon. Now promised to be debuting later this month, Sausagefest has transformed the former Cornish Pasty Co. space at the eastside’s Commercial Center, a brief walk from Lotus of Siam and Sahara Avenue.
The 1,904-square-foot project is highlighted by reclaimed wood accents, both inside and out, plus an impossible to miss Las Vegas-themed mural covering an entire wall. Guests can choose to sit at the bar and counter seating facing the open kitchen.

Wooden chairs and long tables are already in place and the menu will expand upon their truck selections, serving craft beer to be paired with their sausages and "pretzels and pies."
Naidas continues to run the "Fest family" of Burgerfest, Tacofest, Greekfest and Lobsterfest food trucks.
