Blockbuster news out of the Forum Shops at Caesars. The Slanted Door, the Vietnamese restaurant out of San Francisco from Charles Phan, plans to open at the front of the massive shopping center in 2018.
Phan, who serves modern Vietnamese fare family style, brings his first restaurant outside of California. The 8,200-square-foot restaurant will sit on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The menu features a raw bar, spring rolls, cellophane noodles and entrees such as grilled lemongrass rib-eye steak, organic chicken clay pot, carmelized shrimp and hodo soy beanery organic tofu. The San Francisco original restaurant serves lunch and dinner, much like the Forum Shops version will.
The Slanted Door joins Border Grill and Joe’s Stone Crab on the front lower level of the shopping center. In June, The Otheroom plans to debut near the valet service at the front of the center on June 1.
Expect a 2018 debut.
