The corner of Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road will become a major destination for fans of innovative, Asian-inspired casual dining later this year and one new import has already announced its arrival schedule.
Dapper Companies is behind the two-acre, built from scratch site, which will include a stand-alone 3,440-square-foot building to be shared by the second brick and mortar expansion for locals Fukuburger and the first restaurant from L.A.-based food truck Jogasaki Sushi Burrito. Imagined by downtown favorites Bunnyfish Studio, the building will include a shared 1,152-square-foot patio.

A few steps to the west, work has begun work on the Fist of Fusion Island Grill restaurant, a 1,512 -square-foot corner spot, a couple of doors down from the under construction, 4,400-square foot PT's Gold gaming tavern.
Fists of Fusion has been a familiar presence at Las Vegas food festivals in recent years and is looking for an August or September debut for its second permanent home. It opened its first location on Hollywood Boulevard in March.
On the menu, chef Ronnie Lucido’s tribute to the Hawaiian and Filipino favorites of his youth, including rice bowls, burritos, tacos and salads.
An opening date for Fukuburger and Jogasaki Burrito has yet to be announced.
