Almost nine months after first announcing they were "coming soon" to Las Vegas, the Classic Rock Coffee franchise is finally confirmed to be on the way. Anticipating a fall debut, the coffee shop will take over 1,800 square feet of a 3,500-square-foot stand alone building at the under construction Durango Post Pavilion retail center.
Featuring a drive-thru, the site at the corner of Durango Drive and Post Road hopes to entice some of the traffic headed to the Ikea Las Vegas store a quarter mile to the south.
The classic rock theme will include guitars and vinyl record sleeves on the walls, plus a non-stop soundtrack and upbeat attitude to accompany the menu of coffee, frappes, smoothies, protein shakes, pastries and sandwiches. Many items are themed, like the "Strawberry Fields Forever" salad, the "War Pig" egg sandwich, "Woodstock Herbal Blend" teas and the "Raspberry Beret," a white chocolate and raspberry flavored hot or cold drink.
With ambitious national and international expansion plans, the concept is already open overseas in Qatar, India, Nigeria and Bangladesh. Classic Rock Coffee is also pouring in Navasota, Texas, Fullerton, California and two locations in North Dakota.
