The parent company of the Hard Rock Hotel’s hit gastro-pub Culinary Dropout is confirmed to be bringing its spin on Italian dining to Las Vegas.
Fox Restaurant Concept's North Italia will take over 5,518 square feet of interior space, plus 1,679 square feet of outdoor patio at the Rampart Commons retail center, a couple of doors down from Honey Salt.
Filling space previously occupied by retailers the Gap and Banana Republic at the intersection of Charleston and Rampart Boulevard, North Italia aims to deliver "spirit of the Italian taverna," specializing in serving handmade pasta and pizza.
Inside there will be room enough room for 159 seats and 88 more on the substantial patio. A long bar is being created right by the entrance and seating includes large round tables and smaller circular corner booths, suggesting the team already anticipates families and large groups.
Set to be open from 10 a.m to midnight every day, menu choices at other locations includes grilled cauliflower, mussels and arancini small plates, Margherita, funghi and bacon and egg pizzas, plus grilled branzino, "diver scallops" and red wine glazed short rib main dishes.
North Italia already operates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas and Texas. The Las Vegas site is still to be announced as an expansion by the company and an estimated opening date has also yet to be revealed.
