First 595 Craft & Kitchen took over the shuttered Elements Kitchen & Martini Bar at the Centre at Spanish Trail retail strip and now three doors down, Henderson favorite The Chicken Shack is making Spring Valley its home for its third local outpost.
The casual concept will take over a 1,200-square-foot former dry cleaners at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, a few steps from the Meraki Greek Grill.
Promised to be “coming soon,” it has already confirmed it will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closing earlier at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Chicken Shack currently operates at Henderson’s Sunset Mountain Vista Plaza and close to the intersection of the 215 and Valle Verde Drive inside the former Buddha Belly Deli.
On the menu, wings, burgers, fingers, chicken sandwiches, the “Shack Salad” and “homemade chili.” Sides include "BBQ baked beans," macaroni salad and "veggie sticks," plus over twenty free sauces for the chicken selections, including Jamaican jerk, habanero honey, creamy garlic parmesan and the "damn hot.”
