Surprise! Wynn Now Has the Terrace Lounge

Wynn Las Vegas brings back afternoon tea at its recently opened Terrace Lounge near the resort’s main entrance and atrium from noon to 4 p.m.

Customers can find an assortment of tea blends, house-made scones with seasonal jams, marmalades and Devonshire cream and more. Tea sandwiches include curried chicken salad with red grapes, rosemary ham with Gouda and Dijon aioli; smoked salmon salad with cucumber and scallions; and strawberry jam with brie, fennel and balsamic reduction. Fruit tarts, chocolate éclairs, hazelnut religieuse and macarons also make an appearance. Loose leaf teas include varieties of black tea, herbal blends, green leaves, white leaves and blooming tea.

The full afternoon tea menu goes for $47 per person, with optional champagne packages offered: Afternoon Delight includes a glass of Perrier-Jouët, Grand Brut for $68 per person; The Imperial includes a half bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut for $109; and Tea for Two includes a bottle of Perrier-Jouët, Grand Brut for $184.

Tea-infused cocktails also make an appearance on the menu. A Jasmine Leaf combines The Botanist Gin infused with jasmine green tea, lemongrass and tropical bitters; the Tea-jito features Cruzan Rum infused with herbal citrus mint white tea, lime juice and club soda; and the Peachy Cosmo is made with Stoli Peachik Vodka infused with jasmine green tea, Cointreau, lime and cranberry juices and mint.

The Terrace Lounge also serves specialty small plates until 10 p.m. Dishes include petite West Coast oysters, king crab and avocado dip; burrata cheese with peach compote; and Gruyere cheese puffs served with parmesan chips.

Terrace Lounge is open daily from noon to midnight.
