Earlier speculation of which restaurant will anchor the Las Vegas Golden Knights NHL practice facility appears to have been resolved. Bozeman, Montana’s MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub is now hiring for the Summerlin location, a short distance from Red Rock Resort and Downtown Summerlin.

The upper-level 6,591-square-foot space will be strategically designed to offer views of the two hockey rinks directly below. Created by the Glacier Restaurant Group, self-described as the largest restaurant company based in Montana, the company's portfolio includes Max & Erma’s “gourmet hamburger” concept, Ciao Mambo Italian restaurant and the Craggy Range Bar & Grill, another early contender to head into the facility.

The company was created in 2007 by entrepreneur Bill Foley, who is conveniently the owner of the NHL's latest franchise.

An estimated $1,125,361 in construction costs has been allocated to build the Nevada expansion of MacKenzie River Pizza. Since 1993, the Montana franchise has spread to Idaho, Washington, North and South Dakota, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, serving “approachable gourmet pizza and elevated comfort food blended with vibrant customer service.“

On the menu, pizzas, salads and sandwiches, plus “unique flatbreads, juicy burgers, fish tacos, goat cheese queso, Kentucky bourbon bites,” plus “a wide variety of local, craft and imported beer as well as inventive hand-crafted cocktails and distinctive wines in a modern rustic atmosphere provides guests with an unmatchable experience.”

Elsewhere, they also offer a rewards program, where guests can “earn one point for every $1 you spend on food & beverage purchases.” Once diners reach 150 points, they earn $10 in “River Rewards.”

The facility is still officially hoping for a late August debut.
