Diners looking for a contemporary twist on Mexican cuisine have a new option at the West Sahara Promenade at The Lakes. Overseen by chef Paul Bucemi, whose resume includes a stint as chef de cuisine at Brigham City, Utah's Corbin's Grille, the restaurant draws inspiration from his Cuban-born mother’s recipes. Also featuring a “craft tequila bar,” the Salud Mexican Bistro & Tequileria menu includes cocktails from mixologist Cecil Hultz, most recently of Drai's Las Vegas.
Located at the corner of Sahara Avenue and Cimarron Road, Salud sits next door to Eos Fitness and close to Paradise India. The remodeled interior now features bold murals on the walls.

Guests can also opt for fajitas and tacos and sample five “Street Tacos” for $14, including pork belly and pollo asada. A series of tequila flights allow guests to sample three different pours in one serving.
