Phone: 702-609-2524
Status: Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Zydeco Po-Boys shuttered in March, but a replacement is already up and running on downtown’s Carson Avenue. Two Bald Brothers — Mediterranean Cuisine is operated by non-relatives Yitzhak Maydan and Roi Klein and fills a 1,414-square-foot corner spot, a short walk from the Container Park.
Aiming to satisfy the local crowd, the casual restaurant is currently only open until 6 p.m.
On the menu, “bread roll buns,” filled with ingredients like schnitzel for $9.75 or hamburger for $11.75, served with a choice of coleslaw or French fries. Breakfast plates include $9.75 bourekas, a Middle Eastern puff pastry dish, labane cheese with two eggs and salads and shakshuka with a homemade bagel.
Wraps include shawarma and falafel and plate options include baby chicken, the $11.75 beef kabobs and the $12.75 grilled or fried Moroccan fish. They also feature bowls, salads and hummus plates.
