Even more upgrades are headed to the Wynn Las Vegas casino floor and outside, on Las Vegas Boulevard, the first Wynn Plaza tenant confirmations are beginning to trickle in, naming future additions to the two-story, 72,851-square-foot retail attraction.
Moving into the plaza, Los Angeles-based Urth Caffé will be importing its European-style coffee shop and casual breakfast and lunch menus to Nevada, marking its first non-California, U.S. expansion. A frequent filming location during the entire run of the Entourage HBO TV series, the chain includes high-profile outposts in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and on Melrose Avenue.
While the retail spaces are aiming for a fall debut, the café is officially announcing a March 2018 arrival.
Among the stores, a second Las Vegas Saint Laurent boutique will take over a 3,563-square-foot space, stocking shoes, accessories and apparel. The haute couture boutique already operates a 4,000-square-foot location at The Shops at Crystals. Another high-end Crystals tenant, Stefano Ricci, was reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal to be debuting at the plaza in November.
And the Review-Journal also reports Charlie’s Bar & Grill will take over the shuttered Zoozacrackers Deli, right next door to the under renovation Wynn race and sports book. When the deli shuttered back in April, plans called for upgrades to the existing kitchen. Named after a Steve Wynn mentor Charlie Meyerson, Zoozacrackers was a pet-phrase of the casino executive whose portrait hung in the deli. The sports book will return on Aug. 2, but word on a debut date for the grill has yet to be announced.
