A replacement for the long-shuttered Red Velvet Cafe space at the Fashion Show mall is encouraging guests to “rice and dice” and get their poke fix in a casual setting.

California-based chain GoGo Poke has filled 2,134 square feet of the original 4,268-square-foot space on the lower level, next to the escalators near Urban Outfitters. The concept specializes in create-your-own bowls, with inspiration from Korean, Japanese and Hawaiian flavors.

On the menu, bowls filled with two protein scoops priced at $10.99, or $12.99 for three. Guests choose a base of white or brown rice, green salad, chips or a half and half combination, then a protein like albacore, shrimp, octopus, scallops, tuna or salmon. Toppings include fried onion, furikake and seaweed flakes and add-ons like crab meat and edamame. Sauces include the “house GoGo,” spicy mayo, “volcano” and eel.

For dessert, the restaurant serves a $2.99 mochi ice cream and offers three macaroons for $3.99.
