Filipino fast food expert Jollibee is well on its way to debuting a third Las Vegas location, this time in the southwest. The new outpost is a built from scratch, 2,500-sqaure-foot site at the entrance to the Southwest Marketplace retail hub, already home to Gelatology, Tofu Hut and Pho 88.
Currently hiring, an opening date has yet to be announced, but expect on the menu the full roster of less common casual choices, like spaghetti, "fiesta noodles," sweet pork breakfast dishes, peach mango pies and halo-halo desserts and its most famous option, the “Chickenjoy” selection of fried chicken.
On the eastside, Jollibee has been serving inside the Seafood City Supermarket for more than a decade and in the west, at Village Square, it sits next door to its sibling brand, the Red Ribbon Bakeshop. Parent company Jollibee Foods Corp. bought a 40 percent stake in Smashburger in 2015.
