Naked City Tavern, the third restaurant from Christopher Palmeri at 6295 S. Peco Road, closed abruptly on Thursday.

Palmeri wrote on Facebook:

It is with a heavy and sad heart that I write this post. Naked City Tavern is closing effective immediately. I would not like to get in to the why's and how's at this time because I am still in shock by the whole thing as well. I would however like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing staff we had there. They were some of the best people I have worked with in my time in this business. That is where my main concern and the worst part of this lies for me. I wish every single employee we had nothing but success and if there is anything I can do to help any of you, I will. On that note any restaurants looking for quality staff please contact me. I would like to extend my sincere apologies to both the staff and to the amazing guests that made naked city tavern one of the more fun years of working in restaurants for me.

Sincerely,

Chris

Naked City Tavern opened last July in the home of the former Blind Tiger Bar & Grill, the 24-hour bar with 15 gaming machines. At the time, Palmeri called the opening “an opportunity to try to give something to Vegas that I have been waiting 13 years to do.”

Naked City Pizza on Arville, Paradise Road and inside the Blue Diamond Saloon remain open.
