To think that in 2014, Las Vegas didn’t know the pleasures of a roadside burger and concretes. A mere three years later and now the metropolitan area is home to the fourth Shake Shack to debut in the city. Today at 11 a.m., Shake Shack opens at the District at Green Valley Ranch in a 3,500-square-foot space near REI, giving Henderson its first taste of the 100 percent all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers, chicken, griddled flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, beer, wine and more.

New for this location, local frozen custard concretes such as the PB Toffee Crunch with vanilla custard, peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce, chocolate toffee and malt powder; Takes the CupCAKE with chocolate and vanilla custard, The Cupcakery cream cheese-chocolate crunch frosted cupcake and fudge sauce; and Pie Oh My with vanilla custard and a slice of Four & Twenty Blackbirds seasonal pie.

Local brews from Joseph James Brewing Company, as well as beers from Ninkasi Brewing Company, Kona Brewing Company and Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale make the menu along with Shack Red and Shack White wine from Napa-based Frog’s Leap Winery.

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good, the Henderson Shake Shack plans to donate 5 percent of sales from its Pie Oh My concrete to Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank.

This location features a space that uses recycled and sustainable materials. Reclaimed cedar and Oregon white oak logs salvaged, milled and re-purposed into wooden planks fill out the space. Reclaimed bowling alley lanes create the tabletops while the booths are crafted from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Shake Shack has locations at New York-New York, Downtown Summerlin and T-Mobile Arena as well.
