From “first word” to opening day, Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken has debuted at the Grand Bazaar Shops in record time, now serving restaurateurs Eric and Bruce Bromberg’s most famous dish in a casual setting, right on the Strip.
Located on the eastern end of the retail center, close to the entrance to Bally’s, directly in front of Starbucks and a handful of steps from the Giordano’s patio bar, this is the second Las Vegas expansion after Downtown Summerlin and only the third national destination.
Featuring late hours until 2 a.m., Blue Ribbon’s latest menu addition is the stacked high “Smorgasbird” sandwich, filled with a triple layer of chicken and “giant fries with barbecue chicken, smoked bacon, aged cheddar, sour cream and pickled peppers.”
Only available at the Grand Bazaar are “boozy milkshakes,” like the “Hazelberry” made with Chambord and Nutella and “The Dude” created with “Kalua, Hanson Organic Vodka, and whipped cream.” Cocktails are also part of the exclusive drinks menu, including a “Las Vegas Lemonade” and the “Hibiscus Margarita.”
The go-to dish remains the fried chicken breasts, thighs, drumsticks, wings and tenders, dunked in egg whites, coated with matzo meal and fried with seasoning of dried parsley, basil, thyme and garlic, plus cayenne, paprika and salt.
