Say so long to The Perch, the restaurant at the Downtown Container Park. Come Aug. 1, the restaurant changes into Downtown Terrace Kitchen & Bar.
Dan Adams, the director of food and beverage for parent company Downtown Project, says another restaurant with the same name apparently reached out, and the Las Vegas version opted to change names.
The menu of spicy shrimp pasta, tuna tartare and salads from executive chef Marlon Moreland remains. On the weekends, the restaurant serves a brunch with bottomless mimosas, bloody Marys and Bellinis on Fridays through Sundays. After 5 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, the restaurant pours bottomless wine until close.
The restaurant decked out in canary yellows and pomegranate opened in 2014 with room for 40 inside and another 22 on the patio. It’s open Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
