The restaurant row along the Harmon Avenue side of the Miracle Mile Shops has a confirmed, familiar name joining fellow locals Hot N Juicy Crawfish and Nacho Daddy.

Geisha House will take over the shuttered home of Todai Japanese Sushi and Seafood Buffet, filling 10,439 square feet and adding a new 999-square-foot patio with an indoor/outdoor bar.

Technically called Geisha House/Jeju Island Korean BBQ, implying the restaurant will expand on the original Japanese Hibachi menu, the concept sits a short walk from Buffalo Wild Wings and the Strip.

Also accessible via the mall interior, the footprint was once earmarked for an expansion of the Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse chain.

Featuring “the freshest sushi, signature rolls, Japanese fusion cuisine, and Teppanyaki,” Geisha House debuted in Las Vegas in 1971, the brainchild of Jimmy Nishiyama. It currently operates two local locations, on Decatur Boulevard in North Las Vegas and the original eastside home, on Desert Inn Road.

No estimated completion date has been revealed.
