The creators of the Hard Rock Hotel’s gastro-pub Culinary Dropout are bringing their Italian restaurant concept to Las Vegas and have already announced an official opening date.
Fox Restaurant Concept's North Italia is headed to the westside’s Rampart Commons retail center, a short walk from Honey Salt and next door to Pottery Barn. Filling 5,518 square feet of interior space, plus 1,679 square feet of outdoor patio, the restaurant will debut on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Opening hours have also been locked down, serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, followed by dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. and later until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant will also feature brunch on the weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Promising the "spirit of the Italian taverna" and specializing in serving handmade pasta and pizza, plans filed earlier this year included enough room for 159 seats inside and 88 more out on a patio. A long bar will be built right by the entrance.
Working on the project is the well-known local team PWI Construction, whose recent resume includes Beauty & Essex at the Cosmopolitan, Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill at the Venetian and Oyster Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel.
The Rampart Commons center is currently being revamped, including upgrades to building facades and improvements to the entire 8.28-acre site, which also hosts P.F. Chang's on its southwestern corner.
