Fajitas have been set aflame table side in Spring Valley since 2013 and now Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina intends to replicate its “neighborhood place for great Mexican food, drinks and sports” in Henderson.
Located on the far southern end of Water Street, at the intersection with Victory Road, Flaming Fajitas will neighbor Lovelady Brewing Co., which debuted just over a year ago. The Mexican restaurant has been long committed to the neighborhood, hoping to become one of the ground-floor tenants in the 175,000-square-foot Revenant mixed use project, now apparently stalled at the planning stage.
The forthcoming restaurant will fill 5,500 square feet, with a patio dining area facing Water Street. On the future menu, look for a full selection of familiar favorites, including margaritas, sangria and daiquiris, sopas, ensaladas, table side guacamole, “Baja style” fish tacos and the namesake "flaming fajitas" combo, created with steak, pork, chicken or shrimp.
An estimated opening date has not yet been revealed.
