Rolled Ice Cream was the first Las Vegas outlet to specialize in the Thai-inspired frozen dessert and has been quick to capitalize on a local craze that has created long lines inside its Spring Valley location.

Last month, it was revealed the company was expanding to Sansone Park Place retail center on Eastern Avenue, already home to Nielsens Frozen Custard. It will replace the now shuttered, last remaining Soulfish Poke store, itself a forerunner of another fast-casual craze.

Estimated to be ready by the end of July or August, Rolled Ice Cream promises work is “almost done” and are ready to announce the next three expansions.

A site in Centennial has “been signed” and is looking at an October debut. A location within Henderson proper, is destined for Stephanie Road and is hoping to open in either October or November, around the same time as a planned launch of a fifth outpost, headed to Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown.

The rolled ice cream recipe calls for fresh ingredients to be poured "onto a flat pan, cooled to as low as -32 degrees. Then we chop your desired fruit and cream as we roll them into their signature shape."
