Following the reveal of Chatime and Meet Fresh’s expansion into Chinatown, look for a growing trend of hugely successful Asian brands building on a California base and moving into Las Vegas.
Next on the horizon is Taiwan’s Ding Tea. Since 2004, the company opened more than 350 locations in Asia alone and already has 13 sites within California sharing its take on “Taiwan's tea beverage culture.”
Aiming to rapidly franchise across the United States, the Las Vegas home will slot into a 1,200-square-foot space at Spring Mountain’s Spring Oaks Shopping Center center, already home to Honey Pig and the Crown & Anchor pub.
Concept creator Xu Wei-xiang encourages each location to follow his working philosophy of “esteem, service, professionalism and creativity,” while serving a large menu of teas, juices, coffee and lattes, smoothies, boba, milk teas and a house specialty selection of "mousse" beverages. An estimated opening date has yet to be announced.
