Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos has grown into a very familiar, casual Mexican dining option since 2014 and is finally making its way to the east side for its fourth local outpost.
Already serving in Spring Valley, on the westside and in a food court outpost at the Meadows Mall, the new expansion will take over the shuttered, 2,601-square-foot former homes of Cilantros Taco Grill and Los Reyes Taqueria at the Francisco Centre retail hub.
The standalone building on Desert Inn Road, not far from Eastern Avenue, has plenty of parking spaces, shared with retail anchor La Bonita Supermarket.
Promised to be “coming soon,” Frijoles’ two main locations are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with all branches closed on Sundays "to allow our employees to spend time with their families."
Expected for the menu, “carne asada, marinated chicken, al pastor, grilled shrimp,” the popular elote, “fire-grilled Mexican street corn” and the namesake aguas frescas, its strawberry, watermelon, pineapple, mango, chia, spinach or cucumber beverages.
