Tea Space has been serving on Decatur Boulevard in Chinatown since last year and its first expansion increases its footprint size and features walls decorated with tributes to TV, film, anime and comic book favorites.

The new location takes over from the shuttered Coffee Hunter on Eastern Avenue, near Sunset Park. Specializing in a large election of teas, smoothies and coffee choices, Tea Space intends to add the same food menu it recently introduced in Chinatown, including popcorn chicken or shrimp, minced pork rice, unagi don, shrimp and pork dumplings and desserts like a waffle with ice cream, or a "grass jelly latte cup."

The walls are full of images of Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Studio Ghibli characters and even old-school favorites like Snoopy and Felix the Cat, to be admired while snacking on macrons and muffins.

Current “top ten” favorite drinks include the "house milk tea with boba," a “coffee latte with cheese foam” and the "mango oolong tea with aloe jelly."
