The NFL pre-season kicks off on Thursday night when the Cowboys and Cardinals play in the Hall of Fame game, and that means a new place to check out football. Lagasse’s Stadium at the Palazzo only added on to the what some deem the best sports bar in the city with The Biergarden, an al fresco beer hall right on the Strip.

The 1,800-square-foot taste of Bavaria partners Emeril “Bam!” Lagasse with Anheuser-Busch.

Customers here sit at communal bench seating while dining on German-inspired cuisine. The menu features potato pancakes with apple sauce and sour cream, giant Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce, grilled bratwurst or knatwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, and thinly pounded crispy pork or chicken schnitzel topped with lemon and parsley, and German potato salad.

The space, open daily from 4 to 10 p.m., features bottles, buckets and pitchers of beer from Budweiser, Bud Light, Shock Top, Elysian and Four Peaks; "frozen beer," and cocktails such as the Kickin' Mule with Ketel One Vodka, Monin habanero lime syrup, fresh lime and ginger beer or the Royal Refresher with Crown Royal Apple, pineapple juice and soda.

Lagasse’s Stadium last went through a revamp in 2013 when the chef spent $2 million “to renovate it and freshen it up.”
