Metro Diner Sets an Arrival Timetable in Henderson

The third, but not expected to be the last, expansion of Metro Diner has raced through the construction phase and its now hiring for its first Henderson location.

Located at the Stephanie Promenade retail center, right on the corner of Stephanie Street and Trail Canyon Road, it will be easy to spot next door to an AutoZone store. Potential employees are being advised the casual restaurant will debut in September, keeping a earlier estimated timetable that had projected a fall arrival.

Opening hours have already been announced, with the Diner serving from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, closing one hour later at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Metro Diner now operates in the southwest at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Warm Springs Road and in Spring Valley on Tropicana Avenue, making three debuts within a very impressive six months timeframe.

The same Jacksonville, Florida-created menu will debut in Henderson, including fried chicken and waffles topped with house-made strawberry butter, Charleston shrimp and grits with sweet and spicy sauce, biscuits and gravy, a meatloaf plate, burgers, griddle favorites and a "jumbo chicken pot pie."
