Located in the same built-from-scratch Hughes Center annex as Bandito Latin Kitchen & Cantina, Southern California’s H2O Sushi & Izakaya finally appears to be close to opening and is now hiring for all positions.
The 3,956-square-foot space fills almost the same footprint as its neighbor, but will serve in the lower rise structure behind Bandito. With room for a maximum occupancy of 143, H20 Sushi has been promising a "modern, exotic touch," for the interior, set to feature “contemporary décor and a comforting atmosphere.”
First revealed in June of last year, during the wait to debut the company managed to open the counter-service H2O Poke & Sushi Burrito at the Harmon Square retail center, a mile to the south.
Already in operation in California’s Northridge, Costa Mesa and San Diego, the latter two locations offer an all-you-can eat-option on the menu, which also includes "H2O wave carpaccio,” oysters, yakitori, salads, udon, a selection of specialty rolls and the namesake izakaya small plates like "crispy squid legs" and “yellowtail collar.”
