Still promising to “satisfy your royal appetite” after years of serving inside a handful of Las Vegas locations, Wing King is making a major upgrade and launching its first stand-alone restaurant.
The award-winning “wing connoisseurs” will take over the recently shuttered Chile Addiction corner spot, at the Ft. Apache Retail Center, close to Flamingo Road. Currently rushing to change-up the interior design, Wing King is announcing a September debut, ahead of hosting the Travel Channel’s Food Paradise production team for a video shoot on Sept. 26.
Formerly found inside the Adrenaline Sports Bar & Grill, Shooters Bar & Grill and a westside food court, Wing King has also gained a following for appearing at local outdoor food and live music events with their custom-made trailer.
On the menu, 80 possible flavors to choose from, including garlic parmesan, “Jamaican Jerk,” “Spicy Asian Orange,” “Kool Ranch” and “Chili Lime Slam." They also lay claim to be the only place in Nevada to serve "pork wings," made from "fresh, hand-trimmed ham shanks."
Wing King has also become infamous for its “Hell Wing” dining challenge, that is not for the faint of heart. If a guest can finish “12 of our Hell Wings in 20 minutes or less,” the meal is free and the diner will receive an extra 100 free wings of their choice, plus “a video of your challenge uploaded to our Facebook for 30 days for everyone to enjoy.”
