Anyone who has watched Brett Raymer and Wayde King on Animal Planet's hit TV show Tanked already knows the Acrylic Tank Manufacturing partners know how to turn around a project in record time.
Raymer’s latest venture keeps up that speedy pace. His recent takeover of two locations of Donut Mania includes upgrades to the spaces, new doughnut creations and a Summerlin expansion on the horizon.
While the Henderson location at 725 S. Green Valley Pkwy. gets a remodel next, the Spring Valley home at 4460 S. Durango Drive will relaunch with a “grand opening” on Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a barbecue and the cast of Tanked meeting, greeting and signing autographs.
Yet to announce an exact location, the Donut Mania team is dropping hints the Summerlin branch will land at the Trails Village Center.
On the menu, fritters, swirls, $1.90 "gourmets," like the “maple bacon crodough,” “wafer banana cream” and cherry cheesecake. Prices range from 99 cents for classics like a glazed or maple bar and $1.30 for "supremes," like a "Boston creme" or “cereal bar.”
