Hoping to become a Summerlin neighborhood destination that's not just for hockey fans, Montana’s MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub has debuted at the Golden Knights hockey team’s practice facility, officially known as the City National Arena.
Part of the Glacier Restaurant Group also owned by team owner Bill Foley, the casual restaurant offers views of the two practice ice rinks below and is decorated with Golden Knights imagery and murals.
Located a short distance from Red Rock Resort and Downtown Summerlin, the cocktail menu includes $9 martinis, $8 margaritas and Mai Tais, and $8 Moscow Mules. As promised, the beer selection highlights local creators, such as Able Baker Brewing and Henderson's Joseph James Brewing.
On the large menu, $10 wings, and $10.50 fish taco skewers, soups and salads including a large $11.50 Cobb and burgers such as a $13.50 “poutine” creation made with white cheddar cheese curds. Plus, sandwiches, desserts and a full range of pizzas, including the large $22.50 “MacKenzie River,” built with “olive oil and garlic, spinach, roasted zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes and mozzarella, dusted with feta.”
