A new quick-service restaurant on its way to Henderson has looked away from the Hawaiian islands for inspiration and instead will be serving health-conscious, “balanced lifestyle” dishes given a Mediterranean spin.
Hummus Bowls & Wraps will take over the shuttered former home of The Tangerine Cafe’s Italian-infused breakfast and lunch spot at the Eastern Hills Center, close to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sunridge Heights Parkway.
Work on the 1,816-square-foot corner space is well advanced and previews show a bright, open interior and rustic decor. Now hiring, the team is looking for employees willing to work in a “lively” atmosphere and teach “customers about our menu and customizing it for their personal preferences.”
Already planned, “all natural, locally sourced,” bowls, wraps and fresh squeezed juices, featuring “ingredients prepared daily in small batches for a seasonally inspired, personalized experience.”
