Café Hollywood replaces the water-damaged, 24-hour diner Planet Dailies at Planet Hollywood Resort this fall and already promises a “fun, hip atmosphere, combining retro and modern designs” that also keeps much of the same menu as its predecessor.
Planet Dailies creator Robert Earl is behind the new name, and plans to remodel the 5,828-square-foot space and add a wine bar and lounge, private dining room with room for up to 65 guests, and a pastry shop.
Current plywood displays a concept motto of “Film. Food. Fun.” and 35 monitors in the café will display video from the 25-year history of the Planet Hollywood brand, including “a photo gallery of incredible entertainment moments interspersed among the video content.”
The new wine bar will offer more than 40 different wines, “24 of them by-the-glass as well as a full bar and small plates,” while the pastry shop plans to serve a “full array of breakfast goodies and coffee drinks to gelato, decadent desserts and craft sodas.”
