Mesquite chicken and ribs overseen by company mascot Chad the Chicken chef are right on target to begin serving in Spring Valley next month.

Nevada Chicken Café is currently hiring for all positions ahead of an October grand opening, taking over a shuttered 2,882-square-foot Smashburger outpost at 5130 S. Fort Apache, sandwiched between a Panera Bread and Panda Express at the Tropicana Beltway retail center.

The café debuted on the west side in 2005 on Sahara Avenue and expanded six miles southeast of the new home in 2015, opening at the Arroyo Crossing Parkway.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, baby back ribs and chicken marinated in a “special barbecue sauce and blend of herbs and spices,” plus Caesar and “Waldorf chicken” salads, chicken mozzarella or chicken avocado wraps, pulled pork sandwiches, wings, chicken chili soup and sides including mac and cheese, roasted garlic potatoes, broccoli pasta and cucumber salad make the menu.
