Real estate brokers promote a renewed confidence in the retail and dining scene at the Montelago Village at Lake Las Vegas with the fourth new tenant in seven months officially on the way.
Headed to the less traveled, western end of district, Vino Del Lago is working through the Henderson permit process to bring a wine, tapas and “Jazz lounge” to the neighborhood.
Created by Ken and Teri Hutchinson, the lounge will take over the 1,122-square-foot former home of La Havana Cigar Lounge on the Via Brianza, a short walk from the gaming and American cuisine of another 2017 arrival, Proof Tavern. Inside, the space will feature a bar area, main dining room and 82 square feet of wine storage.
Describing itself as “casual, upscale,” the lounge intends to be open Tuesday to Saturday, from mid-afternoon to as late as midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The wine bar plans to hold “wine club member private tastings” and “corporate events” on Tuesdays.
Also new to the village this year, two French-inspired projects, Mimi & Coco Bistro and Le Cafe Du Lac. A timetable for completion of Vino Del Lago has yet to be announced.
