It’s not as common to note a Henderson-born concept making the leap into the greater Las Vegas marketplace, since usually its the other way round. But Me Gusta Tacos at The District at Green Valley Ranch is standing out from the crowd and expanding 14 miles to the west, taking over the shuttered home of Sammy Pho Vietnamese Cuisine.
Located close to the intersection of Durango Drive and Warm Spring Road at the Rhodes Ranch Town Center, Me Gusta Tacos preps to begin an interior upgrade of the 1,800-square-foot space.
Created by locals Chris Connors and Li Hsun Sun, the taco shop celebrated its first anniversary in April.
On the casual Mexican menu featuring “all natural meats, sustainable fish, real fruit agua fresca,” a selection of tacos, burritos, nachos, “stacked tater tots,” breakfast burritos, a roasted corn with bacon side dish and churros for dessert.
An opening date timetable has yet to be announced.
