A second national chain will be joining Indianapolis, Indiana-based Steak ‘n Shake on the grounds of South Point.
The 24th local outpost of Denny’s is currently working its way through the permit phase to create a 4,800-square-foot, free-standing restaurant at 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. S. The ubiquitous brand normally fills an average of 3,600 to 5,000 square feet for each expansion.
While an exact location has yet to be confirmed, the project is dubbed ”Denny’s Las Vegas Silverado,” after Silverado Ranch Boulevard on the north side of the property. An estimated construction budget of $1 million has been allocated to the build.
Among the South Point dining options, Michael’s Gourmet Room, Silverado Steak House and Don Vito’s Italian Restaurant have earned a strong following among locals, looking for a Strip-style experience without the price point or crowds. The Denny’s location is expected to lure visiting travelers headed along Las Vegas Blvd.
The closest alternative sits less than four miles to the east on Eastern Avenue, while eight miles to the north and fronting the Best Western Plus Casino Royale, sits the No. 1 cash generating Denny’s restaurant in the entire country.
