Keeping its promise, Berkeley, California-based vegan bakery Cinnaholic is expanding to Henderson and has lined up an opening date celebration, complete with prizes for early-bird customers.
Cinnaholic’s third local branch after Centennial and Spring Valley takes over the 1,393-square-foot former home of ZiKiZ, launching on Friday, Feb. 9, at 8 a.m.
It sits in the Pebble Marketplace in Henderson, a short walk from The Steamie Weenie and close to the intersection of Pebble Road and Green Valley Parkway at the large retail hub.
That Friday, the first 300 guests in line will each receive a raffle ticket with the chance to win a free cinnamon roll every day for a year. Three winners will be drawn, while others can randomly win “Cinna-swag” throughout the day.
On the menu, “dairy and lactose-free, egg-free and cholesterol-free” cinnamon rolls, customized by each customer from a wide variety of toppings and frostings.
Current seasonal flavors include the “Horchata frosting,” a “raspberry walnut roll” and the “chocolate Fluffernutter,” created with marshmallow and peanut butter frosting and topped with chocolate chips.
