Wynn Plaza, the 72,851-square-foot retail addition to the Wynn Las Vegas resort, has reset its opening date from fall 2017 to an “early summer 2018 grand opening” and now its two anchor dining attractions have been confirmed.
Headed to the second level will be the first non-California, U.S. expansion for Los Angeles-based Urth Caffé. Importing a European-style coffee shop and featuring casual breakfast and lunch menus, Urth will fill 5,493 square feet with enough room for a maximum occupancy of 168 inside. No details of a possible patio are attached to the current paperwork.
Heading from the opposite coast, Cipriani Las Vegas will build a substantial 6,316-square-foot space across two levels. An estimated construction budget of $2 million has been allocated for the work, including an employee-only section of the basement.
While the style and menu of the Wynn expansion has yet to be revealed, the Cipriani brand is noted for its Italian food, upscale intentions, and appeal to the global clientele that make the Wynn resort a preferred destination.
