Hungry poker players can now find Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer at the Venetian inside the former home of B&B Burger & Beer with patio dining that spills out onto the front of the resort. The burger restaurant near the poker room features graphic, neon decor styled like a classic American luncheonette but with modern touches including a deejay booth. The Rockwell Group designed the restaurant, taking a cue from the burger and beer joint’s original location in SoHo. Black Tap spent an estimated $3 million in construction costs alone.
The restaurant with space for 138 diners and another 52 on the patio features Black Tap’s first CrazyShake Bar, where customers can watch employees as they mix up and concoct the insane creations. The island bar made of glass candy display cases features white glazed subway tile walls, a custom shake mosaic floor inlay, and a brick barrel cove ceiling. Patrons can hand out at bar-height seating overlooking the casino at the entry for the restaurant.
