Fulfilling its ambition to bring a menu of “personal favorites from LA to LV one bite at a time,” Nuro Bistro has debuted in Spring Valley, specializing in Hainan chicken dishes.
Located at 4225 Durango Drive, close to Flamingo Road and inside the building that once hosted the shuttered DD’Coffee Shop, Nuro Bistro is decorated with a mural and framed pictures celebrating the owners pug breed dogs Chubbie, Nugget, and Fafi.
Currently open daily from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., the casual menu features poached, free-range chicken served with stock flavored rice. Served with skin and bones, the breast meat portion is priced at $9.75 with dark meat available for an extra dollar.

The chicken rice soup is cooked with the same low-fat poultry and priced at $8.95. Ahead of a future, expanded menu, extras include “cloud ear mushroom salad,” fried chicken wings with spicy lime sauce and another house specialty, braised pigs ears.
